Can I specify my room preferences (preferred floor, non smoking room,...)?
If special requests are accepted by the hotel, a section will appear on the Reservation Form to insert such requests and submit them to the hotel. The hotel staff will do their best to accommodate special requests. We cannot guarantee that your requests will be granted because they will depend on the hotel availability.
Do children receive discounted rates?
The policy regarding child reductions varies from hotel to hotel. Where these discounts apply, they are passed on to you. This can be verified on the hotel booking detail screen where the booking total is confirmed prior to payment being taken.
Does your web site charge a booking fee?
There is no booking fee to use our booking service for room reservations at MongolianHotels.net. We offer you the best prices and our service is free of charge when you book hotel room with us.
How do I know if my hotel reservation is confirmed?
We will send you a confirmation email. This email will include a voucher containing the dates and details of your reservation . Note that the voucher attached to the mail must to be kept and presented when you arrive at the hotel.
How do I make a reservation for someone else?
To complete a reservation for someone else, simply type in his or her name instead of yours for guest name. Use the billing address for the credit card you are using as the address. Don't forget to use your email address to receive your confirmation information. Note additional security checks may also apply.
How do I reserve my hotel room?
Making an online reservation with Mongolian hotels.net is easy.
Just complete and send the reservation form making sure that you have given us your e-mail address and your valid credit card details.
Making a reservation through Mongolian hotels.net requires payment with a credit card.

How do I review my reservation?
You need to keep a note of your Mongolianhotels.net booking reservation number and the email address you used to make the booking. Then go to My Bookings, a link near the top of any Mongolianhotels.net page and enter your booking number and email address.
How much is charged for children staying with their parents?
Usually children under 12 years of age stay for free in their parent's room using the existing bedding. The age requirement differs depending on the specific hotel's policy. This may be listed on the Hotel Lodging page.
The general policy concerning room and breakfast charges for children travelling together with their parents or family is as follows:
Children more than 12 years of age: Any child of this age or older is considered an adult by the hotel industry. Normal charges will apply for both the room and breakfast.
The child supplements will apply to children between the ages of 2-12 years (unless a different age range is specified). They only apply in twin or double rooms.
Child supplements will not be available if the child age is not specified at the time of booking and we will charge for three adults in a triple room if this information is not supplied.
Free cots for babies are only suitable for children under 2 years old.
What is a CONFIRMATION VOUCHER?
Once your booking is confirmed, we will send you, by email, a confirmation voucher detailing all the reservation and price conditions. We invite you to printout this voucher and to present it at the time of your check-in. Your voucher will be accompanied by a booking confirmation number, make sure to have this to hand upon arrival.

How do I know your site is secure?
Once you have booked through MongolianHotels.net, your details are stored on our secure server, which cannot be accessed by anyone external to our company.
How do I leave a hotel review?
To submit a hotel review you must have booked through Mongolianhotels.net and stayed at the hotel. Once you have stayed at the hotel we will send you a personal email (using the email address you provided at the time of making your booking) so that you can submit a review your stay. You will have username and passport to use when you leave your review.
How does the star rating system work?
Star ratings are a guide and represent the level of service, range of facilities and quality of guest care that you can expect at your accommodation. Mongolia uses own grading system which is 1-5 star rated. But Mongolian star rate is one star lower that international star rate, so it means 5 star Mongolia Hotel is same as International 4 star Hotel.
What do you do with my personal information?
Your personal information and card details will be used on to the hotel reservation process, but nowhere else. Any information entered into the online booking page or given over the telephone is securely encrypted and protects your personal information from being tampered with. We will keep your card details expect your security code and booking information on file indefinitely after you have made a reservation. This is to assist in any customer service issues that may arise and to ensure that we meet any legal requirements relating to tax, etc.
What is a Hotel Rating form / Review?
We also encourage you to send us a note upon your return from your trip and submit a Hotel review for the hotel(s) you stayed at. Your Hotel's Review will be shown on that guest review page.

Mongolianhotels.net offer airport transfers and all kinds of transfer services for our guests. So you can book just filling the “special request” on your online booking form.
How do I get to the hotel?
All hotels on Mongolian hotels.net have a report that contains information relating to its location. There usually be the maps on the hotel's information. It is your own responsibility to arrange travel to and from the hotel.
Hotel Policies
How do I get more information about the room or hotel facilities?
I want to check out after the stated check out time. What should I do?
A late check-out can only be arranged with the hotel and usually depends on availability at the time of your stay. You can ask about the possibility at the front desk upon arrival.
I will be arriving earlier/later than the stated check-in time. Can I still check-in?
Usually this is not a problem; you can arrange for an after-hours check-in with most hotels. You can use the ‘Special Requests’ box in the booking process to inform them of your estimated arrival time in writing. Once you’ve received your confirmation you can follow-up with the hotel directly using the contact information provided.
What are the check in and check-out times?
Normal policy for hotels displayed on our web site is that check in time is from 13:00 PM (14:00 hrs.) and the check out time before Noon (12:00 hrs).

Are my credit card details safe?
MongolianHotels.net uses a secure connection for your booking. Your personal data and credit card details are encrypted.
Can I make a reservation for myself using someone else's credit card?
Yes you can – only if you have permission from the card holder. Please state this in the “special request” box when making your reservation. The hotel may require authorization from the card holder Please also note that in the case of a No Show, late cancellation any penalties will be charged to the card provided.
How do I know that my booking has been canceled?
Once you have canceled your reservation you should receive an email confirming the cancellation. Please check your inbox and spam/junk mail folders. If you don’t receive an email please contact us.
My credit card number is correct, but it is not accepted. Why?
There are a few possibilities:
- Your card type is not accepted at the hotel.
- The card expiration date precedes the reservation date.
- You have reached your credit limit.
- There is a computer error.
Which credit cards can I use to complete my booking?
To guarantee a reservation via MongolianHotels.net:
- MasterCard
- Visa
- American Express
Why do I need to give my credit card details?
Mongolianhotel.net requests credit card details to confirm your reservation with the hotel on your behalf. Also we will charge your credit card 10$ per person for the service charge.

How do I know if my hotel reservation is confirmed?

How long does confirmation take?
Confirmation of your booking will depend on was Hotel real time online or not. If you are booking Hotel Mongolia on real time online, you will receive an email confirming all your booking details within 10 minutes. If you are booking Hotel on not real time online, you will receive confirmation voucher after you get invoice and paid it. It will take around at least 2 business days.
I have booked a hotel but I did not receive a confirmation by email. What do I have to do?
Please carefully check your inbox and spam/junk folders belonging to the email address you provided when making the booking. You can also use booking number and PIN code that was shown on the confirmation page when you completed your booking to log on to My bookings to see all the information that is also in the confirmation email. If you need any assistance you can contact us.
What is "My Booking" and how do I use it?
My booking is a self-service tool, which you can use to view, cancel or change your reservation online. You can access My booking directly from:
- Mongolianhotels.net the link is on the top right hand side of the screen.
- With the link provided in your confirmation email.
- To login to My booking just enter the PIN code and booking number you received in your booking confirmation

Changing or cancelling a reservation
Can I cancel or change my reservation through MongolianHotels.net ?
Yes, it’s easy. You can cancel or change your booking via our self-service tool My bookings. If you change or review your booking, click my booking section on the homepage then enter your confirmation ID and e-mail address which are provided to you upon completed reservation. You can change your booking only 2 times. You may cancel or modify your booking at any time prior to your arrival date.
If I need to cancel my booking will I pay a cancellation fee?
If you cancel your reservation prior to your arrival date, you may be charged a cancellation charge.1 night payment, which is already charged from your credit card upon booking. You can find the cancellation charges and date of the hotels on Mongolianhotels.net. 7 days to arrival date free of charge
- 7-4 days to arrival date 30% charge of 1 night fee
- 3-1 days to arrival date 50% charge of 1 night fee
- On the arrival day or No show 100% charge of 1 night fee
If you cancel your reservation included Naadam days (09.07-13.07) the cancellation terms will be different.
- Before 10.April 100% refund all your money
- After 10.April 100% charge of all your money to the hotel

Where can I find the cancellation policy of the hotel?
On the top of the Mongolian hotels.net, you click in the “Terms and conditions” on the homepage. Here you can find cancellation and modification policy.
Reservation Process
Can I be invoiced a receipt for my reservation?
Mongolian hotels provide invoice for your bookings made by not real time online as we do take payment from you. You will get your Invoice by your email after you send us online reservation form on MongolianHotels.net.
How can I make a special request on my reservation?
During the booking process you can enter any special requests in “customer details” which is the second step of your booking. There is space where you can type your request and we will receive it with your booking form at the Mongolian hotels and also your booked hotel both.
How do I make a reservation for someone else?

How do I reserve my hotel room?
Making a real time online reservation with MongolianHotels.net is easy.
Just complete and send the reservation form making sure that you have given us your e-mail address and your valid credit card details. Making a reservation through MongolianHotels.net requires payment with a credit card. Please read our Terms and Conditions before making payment. But for the not real time online hotels such as countryside hotels Mongolia, you fill the online booking form and send it to us. Then we inform you room availability within 24 hours via your email.
How do I review my reservation?
You need to keep a note of your MongolianHotels.net booking reservation number and the email address you used to make the booking. Then go to My booking, a link near the top of any MongolianHotels.net page, and enter your booking number and email address.
Is there a limit to the number of rooms I can book in one reservation?
The limit to the number of rooms will depend on Hotels capacity, but if you need rooms which is more than online booking room of the same type we would like to assist you. Once you know the number of rooms and room types, the maximum budget, your desired destination and dates please contact us. If you want to make a reservation for more than10 rooms for the same room type (single room, double room etc), please send an email to info@mongolianhotels.net providing the number of rooms needed, the maximum budget, your telephone number, the type of rooms needed and the destination. Group reservations may carry different cancellation policies from those stated on the hotel’s page.
Prices and Payment
Are the rates on your site per person or per room per night?
The quoted room rate is per room per night. The rate will reflect the number of persons you entered on the Search Form. It is for one person if you selected one person and it's for two people if you selected two people.
Do I pay a reservation fee to MongolianHotels.net?
There is no fee to use our booking service for room reservations. We offer you the best prices and our serve is free of charge when you book hotel room with us.
Does the hotel need a deposit or a payment in advance?
You pay to MongolianHotels.net directly via Online for your hotel in Mongolia. You pay deposit one night price and some more percent of total payment of your room in Hotels in Ulaanbaatar, and pay rest of money to your hotel reception or manager by cash or credit. For the countryside hotels you pay full pre-payment for your hotel to MongolianHotels.net.

- 0-5/6 years old - 100% free of payment
- 5/6-12 years old - 50% free of payment
- Otherwise years old - 100% of payment
What does the price include and not include?
Prices of all hotels in Ulaanbaatar included breakfast and VAT. But prices of most of the countryside hotels not included breakfast and VAT normally, but if you select deluxe room type breakfast will be included in some hotels. Depending on hotel policy, sometimes guests pay for their internet usage, laundry and sauna & massage. You can see if breakfast or anything else, such as taxes, are included by rolling your curser over the text in the column called ‘Hotel policies’.
When will I be charged for the reservation fee?
Once we have received your credit card details, we simply check with our bank, in order to guarantee / secure your booking. Until the hotel accepts your booking, no immediate charge is made. We will charge your credit card for the hotel room only after having supplied you with a confirmed reservation.
Room Types
Is there any suitable room type for FAMILY?
Family Rooms There are two main types of family rooms, as follows:
Triple Room
A triple room is designed to accommodate three people only. The room will contain either:
One queen and one single bed or three single beds.
Please specify which option you require when sending your reservation form.
We can also assist you in seeking accommodation that can accommodate more than four people in a room. Please specify the number of people in your party when completing your reservation request form.
Note that all kinds of room category are on request and depend on room availability.
We have children; can we get extra beds/cribs in the room?
Information regarding children and extra beds/cribs is located under ‘Hotel Policies’, please take note of the following:
- Added costs for children, if any, are not included in the reservation price.
- During the online booking process please place your request for any extra bed/crib in the comments box provided.
- If you’ve already booked your room, just click on the link provided in your email confirmation and on My bookings to request an extra bed.
